Take it from me when I say nothing beats a relaxing holiday with a bunch of your Northern friends in Portugal, that specifically. It was my second time visiting the beautifully slow paced, uncomplicated way of life, however short lived, it was the best. Sun drunk at Algarve, with the nightly breeze that waves humidity, how do you really get it that good? We stayed at a gorgeous villa a few minutes from the beach, with multiple BBQ nights, always in and out of the pool and simultaneously putting on sun cream again and again. A whole week spent laying under the sun, watching the day drift by - of course I opt for all cases in favour... God just knows, as when does he not, but the point I want to make is how amazed I am when it unfolds and I see that nothing is ever even slightly offbeat with timing. With fashion month following directly and London ready to go as soon as I get back, I could not have planned a more brain-resting, stress-free holiday. Honestly, I didn't move unless I had to, zero problem solving matter of businesses, though it did hurt my brain watching everyone occupy every conversation possible about last night's Mafia game/ Divergent absurdities. (hehe) The only time I lifted a limb was to feed ourselves, bike ride, our forrest adventures, to a water park and play games on the beach. Loved being carefree like that and enjoyed so much of not having a phone during the day, now I realise how much time and privacy you can save, if I could only have the luxury of that for a little longer... I really enjoyed cooking together and eating dinner on our balcony under the surreal moonlight, then playing random games and trying to stay up late until we crashed and over again the next day making breakfast and playing Ariana Grande a little too loud floating by on lilos until we head out to the beach and the strip.
Breaks are good.
In God we trust,
